Review: 'HUSH NOW, THE'
'CONTRAILS (single)'

-  Label: 'Self Released'
-  Genre: 'Pop' -  Release Date: '11th January 2010'

Our Rating:
This is the Boston based indie band's second single from their sophomore album Constellations.

Judging by the videos posted on their website (including a festive tune 'Wishing You A Happy Christmas') these are fun loving guys set on making fun loving guitar pop.
And such is their sharing, caring spirit, their tunes are free to download form their My Space page.

There are vague hints on darkness in the lyrics ("Hands in my pocket and finding them empty" / "Don't look down to see me crawling") but you'd have to be a hopeless pessimist to interpret this in a glass half empty way.

This jangley pop single isn't out to change the world; it just wants to raise your spirits for 3 minutes and 42 seconds.
