Review: 'DOZAL BROTHERS, THE'
'Faces EP'

-  Label: 'I Blame the Parents Records'
-  Genre: 'Punk/New Wave' -  Release Date: 'December 2009'-  Catalogue No: 'ibtpcdl00020 (Download Only)'

Our Rating:
The 80s-inspired synth sounds of She Wants Revenge fused to some more aggressive darkwave electronica in the form of low-slung distorted bass tones provide the sonic carriage by which the nasty distorted to high- heaven vocals charge from the speakers on the 'Faces' EP. Lo-fi and punk-spirited, the three tracks explode like a techno Metal Urbain. 'Crucify Yr Parents' is amusingly retro, the yelping vocals competing with an Atari computer game soundtrack played on fast forward.

Entertaining and aggressive, this synth garage thing is probably the most exciting music I've heard so far this year.
