Jim Kroft, up and coming singer/songwriter, based in Berlin, blah blah, and so on. Heard it all before. So what makes Jim Kroft special, (if anything)? A full band sound, expansive production, orchestral arrangements and incidentals that add layers of texture and depth to the sound, to name but a few.
'One Sees the Sun' - the syntactically correct title duly noted (and rightly so given that the inspiration for the song was a meeting with writer Colin Wilson, who span a yard about Dostoyevsky) - isn't your standard introspective singer/songwriter fare, either. Instead, 'One Sees the Sun' takes the form of an uplifting, outward-looking ray of sunshine with a surging chorus and hell, it's even got a guitar solo. Ace!
