Keith Tenniswood fours the floor on the A side, congas bongos and such leading the charge, quickly joined by booty bouncing analogue bass. There’s a catchy as hell top line that twists & turns and then turns again into a concise history of synth sounds we’ve known loved and jumped around like crazy acid house fools to. Stunning in its simplicity.
We flip to kick it with some electro action in the shape of ‘snare stealer’ & finish with the slo mo heavy bass n’ beats that is ‘porn skullard’. There’s an LP to go with this name of ‘Booby Trap’ and if you get the chance to see the radioactive lad live then surely do so, he’s great.
