Chantelle Redman has seen a lot develop over the last year or so since she first became an internet sensation. Having appeared on GMTV, the BBC and Nickelodeon she recently signed a record deal with Agency Global and an exciting future looks destined for this 17 year old Brit.
The story itself is intriguing, although we have seen unknowns propelled to stardom in the past, and with the likes of Justin Bieber optimising such heights of global success. But what about the music that followed the You Tube sensation which peaked at the fifth most viewed link worldwide with 8 million hits and counting?
Good Times is Chantelles first single to stand up against the large reputation that has been created. The disco pop sound was not one that I was expecting from someone who shot to fame from a video, but it is hard to discredit the single due to its mastery as a sure-fire dance floor filler. Bouncing along to beats and rhythms that are reminiscent of Scissor Sistors but tinged with much more direct dancefloor flavours that are Kylie-esque, Chantelle is proving that she will be a force to be reckoned with on the commercial dance scene.

I hope to see more from this hot prospect, a ballad or two would be nice so we can really begin to understand this girls potential. My guess is that it wont be long until we get a good idea!
