'Old Man,' which comes as a taster for the forthcoming album 'What Was Ours Can't Be Yours' is my first introduction to Norwegian synth-poppers Harrys Gym. It's a most pleasant introduction, too.
'Old Man' is dreamy without being insipid, memorable without being repetitive or irritating, ethereal without being tentative.
Even the remix, courtesy of Chad Valley, on the flipside is good, bringing something new to the track without stripping it of the elements that make the original version special.
