Hushed and atmospheric, 'Teenage Eyes' is built around a sparse, lonely neo-classical piano that rolls hauntingly over a spacious trip-hop beat that fades in and out, remaining at a respectful distance, along with an almost subliminal bass. The fragile vocals make only brief appearances, but the effect is spine-tingling.
It's a magnificently crafted piece and stands to be played on a loop for a good half an hour without growing tired. The new Radiohead? Perhaps...
