While bands and their fans devote hours to the creation of new genres and genre hybrids – and let’s face it, the press are just as guilty (and I’ll admit I’m by no means exempt), ultimately, there are only two kinds of music – good and bad.
Leeds-based ‘electronicore’ quintet fall into the latter category. I mean, I don’t know where to begin. Styling themselves both musically and visually on The Blackout, they even lack the rock punch of these piss-weak pop-rockers. The result? Crap soft metal that combines power chords with expansive dance synths, coupled with lame poppy vocals and chantalong choruses. They’re down there with Pendulum and latter-day Linkin Park, only with less balls. I wouldn’t have thought it possible, until I heard this bunch of limp haircuts...

Oh, and guys, if you (yes, that’s if you, not ‘ifyou’) happen to read this, like ‘infact’, ‘incase’ ‘upto’ and ‘alot’, ‘Ourfamous’ is two separate words. Sort it out. You may be human, but you’re evidently not literate.
