Review: 'Take the Seven'
'Lots of Trouble, Usually Serious'

-  Genre: 'Rock' -  Release Date: '9th January 2012'

Our Rating:
Right, so they’ve nicked their scored-through typeface from A Perfect Circle, but that’s by no means this Derbyshire five-piece. While citing We Are the Ocean, The Blackout, Kids in Glass Houses and Funeral for a Friend as their main influences, they’re touting their ‘explosive’ debut seven-tracker as ‘a hefty slice of sturdy ferocious Alt-Rock’.

If only it were so. What we actually get is another drab clod of melodic hair-straightener rock with hateful Guitar Hero soloing that could be any band given three and a half Ks by Kerrang! I can’t even be bothered to slag it off.
