Review: 'This Is Freedom'
'Welcome Home'

-  Album: 'Welcome Home' -  Label: 'T.I.F Records'
-  Genre: 'Rock'

Our Rating:
After listening to Welcome Home, it is easy to see why This Is Freedom are set to take 2012 by storm.

Drawing upon their own past experiences, the result is a debut EP that showcases the bands ferocious blend of punchy punk pop, hard hitting rock and angst fuelled attitude.

Instantly likeable, the Opening track allows for Jay Scott's talented vocals to be admired. The song see's roaring riffs collide with infectious melodies. Continuing on with that powerful opening, the thrill inducing title track sees the band blend energetic riffs with battered beats. Whilst the emotion fuelled tender ballad, Hurricane, gives the album another layer of depth by creating a more melodic moment.

With an album this strong, Welcome Home should see This Is Freedom eagerly embraced into the superleagues of the melodic punky rock scene!
