Review: 'TRASH MONROE'
'Addiction of Duplicities part 1'

-  Label: 'Self-released'
-  Genre: 'Heavy Metal' -  Release Date: '12th November 2012'

Our Rating:
This is a pretty cool single. Part 2 of the Addiction of Duplicities will be out next year, but for the moment this Essex Rock band have given us two very strong songs to be going along with.

S.O.B. starts off sounding all big haired 80s metal but with a few modern twists with vocals that sound like a meeting of Lita Ford and Sass Jordan and a sound that reminds me of contemporaries like Sanguine. It certainly needs a few listens to let it get under your skin. It's a bit like Poisonblack with female vocals.

Stupid Again isn't quite what I expected from the title, it's darker and more ominous than S.O.B. and all the better for that as Melany Dantes sings about her raging fury and Daddy issues over a suitably doom laden backdrop that accentuates the anger in the lyrics. I look forward to hearing more addictive Duplicities soon.
