Review: 'Paranoid Visions'
'Rock and Roll Revolution / Split Personality'

-  Label: 'Louder Than War'
-  Genre: 'Punk/New Wave' -  Release Date: 'December 2012'

Our Rating:
Bookending a year of 7” singles releases that have reinjected life into what was once the lifeblood of the record industry, Louder Than War present a 3-tracker from Dublin punk act Paranoid Visions. They’ve brought their friends along to celebrate the event, too, with guest vocals from Crass’ Steve Ignorant on lead track ‘Rock and Roll Revolution’, and Membranes / Goldblade front man and LTW label head John Robb on ‘Split Personality’. Of course, name-dropping’s all well and good, but is it any cop?

Well, it just so happens that it is. Rough ‘n’ ready old-school punk rock, it’s all about the energy and sticking two fingers. And you can’t really argue with that (unless you want a punch on the nose).
