Review: 'CALLAHAN, SAM'
'Runaway Train'

-  Genre: 'Pop' -  Release Date: 'December 2012'

Our Rating:
The fresh, new face of pop, 18 year old Sam Callahan is set to become a teenage sensation with his infectiously catchy new single'Runaway Train'.

Looking and sounding very much like a pop star there is a certainly a Beiber-like quality about Sam and this may work in his favor and set him for a very big career in 2013.

Formally in a band managed by Geri Halliwell and now working with hit producer John McLaughlin, Sam has already established himself as a talented artist. Sam began songwriting when he was 14 and attended the Sylvia Young Theatre School, since leaving at 16 he has turned down a number of scholarships and musical opportunities in order to pursue his ambitions as a singer, songwriter.

This passion and aspiration sure shows in his music and you cannot help but hope for the youngster to do well with his debut. With its summery beat and easy to learn lyrics it's difficult to imagine young girls, or anyone for that matter, across the nation not singing along to this little number. You will find a guilty pleasure in this wonderful single and we can fully expect to see Sam's name and face plastered everywhere before too much longer.
