A slow pulsing click is slowly eaten away by a thick, subsonic bass that gradually grows louder and denser. Shrill, trilling whines scratch away in the higher frequencies... a blizzard of static fizzes across shifting airwaves as a stippling low-end sound shudders the lower recesses of the pelvis as side one draws to a close on a tapering tone of subliminal doom. Side two ventures into further toward indefinable and unreachable sonic territories, uncharted and unnamed.
It’s too intrusive to be ambient: although quiet and often almost intangible, it’s not the volume but the frequencies that interrupt the listener’s senses.
